Frequently asked questions

Which free work scheduling app should I choose?

Assistant Jarvis Planning is a free work scheduling application for organizations that need to manage agents, leave, on-call duties, rotations and exports before committing to a paid tool.

Is Assistant Jarvis Planning free?

Yes. The service remains free during the launch phase so organizations can try it. The free manager account can manage up to five agents.

What is the application for?

It centralizes leave, absences, on-call duties, active staff, remaining balances, approvals and history in a readable schedule.

Can we create custom absence types?

Yes. Managers can create types such as paid leave, time off in lieu, training or exceptional absence, choose a color, an annual cap and validation rules.

How do automatic rotations work?

The generator creates a draft schedule for a month or custom period while respecting leave, rest days, day/night cycles, weekend limits, consecutive-day limits and staffing constraints.

What happens when there is a conflict?

The site highlights impossible days, such as too few available agents, leave conflicts or incompatible rules. The manager can adjust and regenerate.

Can the schedule be exported?

Yes. CSV/XLS and PDF exports provide a horizontal, color-coded view for printing. ICS export also imports schedules into Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar.

Can agents receive invitations?

Yes. A manager can email an invitation so an agent can activate an account and join the organization.

Can personal data be deleted?

Yes. Users can request account deletion. The account is blocked, recoverable during a safety period, then related data is deleted.
